Summary and Your Choices
Cat Escape! is a single-player puzzle game from Mala Tech LLC. The
full game works offline, and no named account or sign-in is
required to play. The app creates a random Firebase guest
identity for secure commerce preflight and purchase delivery.
Cloud Scores and Analytics & Diagnostics are separate optional
features and are off until you choose to enable them on the
in-app privacy screen.
Cat Escape! does not show advertising, sell personal data, or track
you across other companies' apps or websites. It does not request
your name, phone number, contacts, precise location, full payment
credentials, Android Advertising ID, or Apple's IDFA.
Data Stored Only on Your Device
Level progress, local records, audio and haptic preferences,
privacy choices, Paw balance, daily Hint and Undo counters,
purchase entitlement state, and pending cloud submissions are
stored on your device. They remain until you clear the app's data
or uninstall it. Turning off Cloud Scores clears pending cloud
submissions.
Commerce and Purchases
Apple App Store or Google Play processes in-app payments. Cat Escape!
does not receive or store your full card number, bank account, or
store password. To deliver and restore a purchase, the app
receives the product identifier, purchase status, transaction or
purchase-token data, and signed receipt or verification data from
the store. Cat Escape! uses that information for purchase validation,
entitlement delivery, restoration, refunds,
revocations, support, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
If you enable Analytics & Diagnostics on Google Play,
Firebase Analytics may also record an in-app purchase event,
including the product identifier, price, currency, and quantity,
for first-party product analysis. This optional use remains off by
default and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Version 1.2.0 offers a consumable 10 Paws product, a one-month
auto-renewing Unlimited Monthly subscription, and a non-expiring
Unlimited Lifetime entitlement. The app creates a pseudonymous
Firebase anonymous user ID and uses Firebase App Check, Cloud
Functions, and Firestore to check service availability, verify
store transactions, and prevent duplicate delivery. This
essential commerce processing is independent of the optional
Cloud Scores and Analytics & Diagnostics choices.
A local record prevents the same consumable transaction from
being delivered twice. Store transaction data may also be sent
securely to Cat Escape!'s verification service and the applicable
store to confirm current entitlements. Apple and Google process
purchase information under their own privacy policies and legal
obligations.
The purchase-verification ledger may contain the anonymous guest
ID, product and transaction identifiers, store order metadata,
purchase status, subscription expiry, refund or revocation state,
delivery status, environment, and verification timestamps. It is
retained for as long as reasonably necessary to deliver and
restore purchases, prevent duplicate consumable grants, process
refunds or revocations, resolve support or fraud, and meet legal
and accounting obligations. These transaction records are not
removed by the Cloud Data deletion action, although they are not
used for advertising or tracking.
Optional Cloud Scores
If you enable Cloud Scores, Cat Escape! uses the random Firebase
guest user ID for this installation. Google Firebase App Check,
Cloud Functions, and Cloud Firestore provide verified
personal-best and World Best comparisons.
For a winning run, the app sends:
- The random guest user ID and a random submission ID.
- The challenge ID, rules and board hash.
- The blocker cells selected, move count, and completion time.
- Hint, undo, and restart counts.
- App version and build number.
The server replays the moves to confirm a legal result. The guest
account, its runs, and personal-best records are retained while
the account exists. You can stop future uploads by turning Cloud
Scores off. You can permanently delete the guest account and all
runs and personal records linked to it from
Menu → Privacy & Data → Delete Cloud Data & Guest Account.
De-identified challenge totals and World Best statistics that no
longer contain a guest ID may remain after deletion.
Optional Analytics and Diagnostics
If you enable Analytics & Diagnostics, Cat Escape! uses Firebase
Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics for first-party product
improvement and stability. They may process:
- First opens, sessions, screens, and gameplay interactions.

On Google Play, in-app purchase events such as product
identifier, price, currency, and quantity when a purchase occurs.

A Firebase app-instance, installation, device, or iOS IDFV
identifier. Advertising identifiers are disabled.

Device model, operating system, app version, language, and an
approximate region inferred from a masked IP address.
- Crash logs, stack traces, and related diagnostics.
This data is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. You
can withdraw consent at any time in Menu → Privacy & Data.
Turning the setting off stops future collection and resets the
app's Analytics identifier. It also deletes unsent Crashlytics
reports stored on the device; enabling the setting again after an
off period clears any pre-consent report before collection starts.
Crashlytics crash data already sent with consent and associated
installation identifiers are generally retained by Firebase for
90 days. Analytics user-level and event-level retention follows
the configured Firebase/Google Analytics retention period.
Firebase Processing and International Transfers
Google LLC and its affiliates process essential commerce,
authentication, App Check, purchase-verification, and operational
data, plus optional cloud-score, analytics, and diagnostics data,
as service providers for Mala Tech LLC. Cloud score and purchase
verification records are hosted in a United States multi-region
Firestore location.
Firebase and Google may process data in the United States and
other countries where they operate, subject to their contractual
and legal safeguards.
Cloud Functions operational logs may include the function called,
timestamp, status, and caller IP metadata. Standard operational
logs are retained for 30 days; required audit logs may be retained
for 400 days. These logs are used for security, reliability, and
abuse prevention.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Direct client access
to Firestore is denied. Cloud functions require an authenticated
guest user and a valid App Check token, and verified results are
replayed on the server. Access to production systems is limited
to authorized personnel and service providers who need it.
Support Emails
If you email ruskyluo@gmail.com, we receive the email address,
message content, and any details you choose to include. We use
that information only to respond to your request, troubleshoot an
issue, and maintain support records. Support correspondence is
normally retained for up to 24 months, or longer when reasonably
needed for security, disputes, or legal obligations.
Tracking, Advertising, and Sharing
- Cat Escape! does not track users across third-party apps or websites.
- Cat Escape! does not sell personal information.
- Cat Escape! does not include advertising networks.
- Firebase supports secure commerce and the optional features described above.
- Cat Escape! does not request or read IDFA.
Children's Privacy
Cat Escape! is designed as a general puzzle game and does not knowingly
collect personal information from children without legally valid
permission. It is not directed to children under 13 and is not in
Apple's Kids Category. If you believe a child has provided personal
information, contact us and we will investigate and delete it where
required.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access,
correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal
data. The in-app controls provide immediate consent withdrawal and
cloud-account deletion. Purchase-verification records may be
retained for the limited delivery, refund, fraud-prevention,
accounting, and legal purposes described above. For other

Changes
If future versions add visible accounts, advertising, or other
data features, this policy will be updated before those features
are released.
